I moved to the US from Nigeria when I was 3 ½ years old with my two older sisters, younger brother, and mother.

Why did your family come to the United States? My parents wanted their children to have a better education and educational opportunities than could be received in Nigeria at the time.

What would the U.S. be missing out on if you or your people were banned? Color. There is something unique about Nigerians. There is so much personality in the way they relate to each other and others, It’s their ability to persevere through hardship, their dedication to bettering themselves, and a commitment to seeing life as something to be enjoyed and lived.
