It's deeply saddening to realize how many people today still live in such closed mindsets, but heartwarming to see how everyone else is responding. Thank you for making this project happen and for all you do for others in your community.

Why did your family come to the United States? They never immigrated, but brought me and my sister to the States during their two sabbaticals while we were young. It opened many doors for us and my sister and I now both work and live in the States, while our parents continue to live in Taiwan. My sister now has a green card and I'm starting my green card application process later this year.

What would the U.S. be missing out on if you or your people were banned? A different perspective, a holistic view on life and the environment, creativity, audacity, honesty, warmth, street food, frugality and simplicity of life, great computer programming, scientific, artistic and academic minds, etc.
