My parents left Kaohsiung, Taiwan at the age of 25 with less than $1000 to pursue higher education in Arizona. After graduating and starting their own business helping other international students settle into American universities, they eventually made their way over to Fremont, California-- a city with a 68% population of immigrants that continues to be ranked as one of the safest cities in the country.

Why did your family come to the United States? Educational opportunity for themselves and their future children.

What would the U.S. be missing out on if you or your people were banned? A sizable portion of California and every trendy bao and boba shop.
