Why did your family come to the United States? My mother's parents came in 1925 from Bavaria, Germany, because there were no jobs after the war. They were around 18 years old, and met in Buffalo, NY. They were potato farmers back in the old country. I'm working on the family tree, and found that my father's father's parents were both from Germany as well. My paternal grandmother's side includes lots of Irish, and a Frenchman! Voila!

What would the U.S. be missing out on if you or your people were banned? The US would be missing out on a Waldorf trained teacher who taught Waldorf curriculum in public schools, a good salsa dance partner, a multi-linguist world traveler culture lover, and a passionate lover of nature and life!
