Why did your family come to the United States? My great grandfather, the man on the left, came to the United States as a child refugee fleeing the Mexican Revolution.
What would the U.S. be missing out on if you or your people were banned? All four of that man's children, my abuela and my tías and tío, served this country directly, as public school teachers and administrators, in the Navy, and in other government agencies. The contributions they have made and continue to make to this society are immeasurable.
